Below the belt. How else do you meet so many nice people during a race. My mistake was "mountain biking" on cross tires. The first flat was a stans blow out on Lippencote, #2 was a routine pinch. #3 more sidewall issues. #4 a blowout heard round the world, had skinny volume of air without sidewall support. Live and learn. The last three flats all happened in the last 12 miles or so.

Next year Jodi size tires with 100 psi!
I still have not had a flat while riding.....EVER. I don't understand why you guys get all these flats?
You've just cursed yourself, Trish.
BTW, I ran 40psi in 35c tires (w/ tubes) mounted to Stans Arch rims and had zero issues.
I ran 30c tires at 70psi for the race. I tested 50psi on Thursday. No flats on Park, Buckets or Turtle. I wasn't so lucky on Coal Hearth.
Trish has said several times about no flats. The jinx isn't working! Maybe she's a witch?
Is she heavier than a duck?
Shorts,
Gain 50 pounds and you will know all about flats!
She's trying to put on 50 pounds! I saw her with 3 burritos yesterday. BTW, that was a burrito in her pocket!
If she had 3 burritos yesterday she'll be losing at least 10 pounds today...
Sorry. I meant 30 burritos. I hope she's staying away from open flames today.
Isn't it time to ban Mooch from this blog?
Mike
Ban that Mooch character.
I think there's a new guy on the scene anyway. Goes by the name porksausage...
