29er parts

Does any one have any used 29er parts for sale? Need everything but the frame and fork. Wheelset (disc compatible), disc brakes, drive train, etc....
Let me know. It's a good way to make some extra cash before the holiday! Contact me here or thru mtnbkrchica@gmail.com.

  1. hey, you spelled "parts" wrong!

so, really, you just need a 29er wheelset, and then a bunch of parts to build a bike. i don't think there are 29er seats or handlebars. do you know what size stem or bars or seatpost you need?

I have a DT wheelset for sale. SS rear hub, but you can run some gears on it. I have a small yardsale of parts. Any idea on what kind of build it will be?

  7. My GF'er Cobia is still rollin like it's no one's biz. Loves it. My cousin is building a 29er.
I already asked him about Zach's pedals. He thinks the same way I do. Crank Brothers can suck it.
Ohhh DirtyGirl. Need wheels. yay! Maybe we can make this deal go down on Fbook! I'll email you.

  8. scratch the fbook idea dirtygirl. I can't find you on there. I don't know crapo about wheels other than they are round and I need 2 of them. If the DT's are decent, disc compatible, and a 9 speed cassette can be put on the rear, then name your price. you can email me at mtnbkrchica@gmail.com if you prefer. Thanks man.

  9. SS rear hub will not let you run a 9-spd cassette. his wheels won't get you what you want. sorry!

if i had a clue as to what we're doing bike-wise, i might have some stuff to sell. but i don't so i don't. sorry again!

  11. yep, kinda. She's building it for her hubby Chris for Xmas. Nothing scarier than 2 chicks trying to build a mountain bike expected to function. lol. His first test ride will have to be 3MT. ha.

yeah the rear hub can only take 5 cogs, not 9.

I guess I should've used the normal hub.

  14. I can probably help you out with the drivetrain and brakes...assembly too if you'd like. I'll send you an email tonight with what I have and asking price. Basically it's a shimano LX/XT drivetrain with grip shifts and Avid BB7 brakes with 185 rotors.

Cool, a 69er three speed with grip shifts, foot brakes and no pedals. Impress him and thriw in a GF ashtray while you're at it!
