If you insist on GF (and the unique G-2 geometry); and want to take the edge off (and associated frame damage)of those big-M rock gardens; you should strongly consider a GF Ferrous 29er. Steel is real!
Doesn't Trek make Gary F'ers now? That would explain the suck crackage of frame after frame after frame... At least the warranty is good. That light blue frame was SUPER pretty. Hopefully you get the same frame as replacement

trek has made jerry fissures for a long time. always? only the names have changed to protect the guilty.
The new frame won't be the same ghey "Mooch blue". It'll probably be a two-tone light/dark metallic blue like my new frame. We'll be twins again!
