It's a big pull off on the north side of 233 between Woodrow Rd and Michaux Rd. There's a muddy bank there where some trails dump out into the pull off, hence the name Mud bank.
Great ride today! A cool start of about 32ยบ gave way to sun and mid 40's which makes for great riding weather when you're climbing in Michaux! BirdMan, Dr. Dave, Chief, Slow, Mike and JBird, Sue and myself. Fun Stuff! Come join us some time!
Here's a picture I took from todays ride. It was nice to be able to meet you Prophet, Jbird & Mike and good to see the familar faces and here the usual bitching from the others.
FYI. There's a reRoute around the entire "Drainage ditch" section at the start of the Rattlesnake descend. Was up there yesterday evening, looks like you guys missed it.
Is kind of covered with leaves right now though...
Is a funner trail, it's time to shut down that "Rain rut" of a trail.

Can someone post directions to Mud Bank or better, yet, a Google Maps link? Thanks.

what loop did u guys ride?
I was in the Norchaux area
mudbanks, 7, jakes, lewis rocks, deer bingo, rattlesnack (we renamed it), popped out on michaux rd somehow, then back to the lot in a round about way.
How did I pass Sue and Chief and the rest of you on 233 near the park if you guys started from Mud Bank?
we came out on Michaux road some how and decided to do community service back to the mud bank. I guess we kept heading north after rattler.
