Heading north on 233 from Caledonia, pass intersection of Shippensburg Rd. Mud banks is a shallow, somewhat lengthy lot on the left approx. 3 miles past Ship Rd. and shortly after Woodrow Rd.(dirt).
Heading south on 233 from Pine Grove, drive approx. 2 miles, lot will be on your right.
Well, not a good day for MBM. Lots of obstacles to getting there. Tree down on 233. Scott didn't have enough gas to make it with a reroute. I was 15 min late, and the lot was empty. Sorry to the guy in the green jacket if you were looking for us. It didn't even register that you may have been riding to the lot til I was 5 minutes past you. The road got pretty rough north of grave ridge -- that township must suck at snow removal!
Ended up having to park on ridge road between 233 and michaux rd and had to ride the rest of the way to the parking lot at mud banks only to be 10 minutes late and nobody in the parking lot:( Then I remembered mbm was like "mail persons" and they don't deliver on Sunday's so I rode by myself.
I parked at county line and rode in. Sorry I missed the other guy riding alone - I saw tracks. It was nice just riding the roads and dirt roads - no traffic. Rode up 233 to the downed trees - quite a dramatic picture. Turned out to be a great day for a ride. -CraigC
