Tuesday Night Back O' The Pack Ride

Tuesday beginner ride at Caledonia. Park at the entrance (bottom) of Quarry Gap Rd outside the Hosack Run camp area. Going north from the intersection of Rt30 and 233 this is the third left and is well marked. Coming south on 233 toward Rt 30 this is the first right after Milesburn Rd. Those who show will decide the difficulty of the ride. Ride time 5pm. We'll ride an easy pace, take breaks and have some fun. Bring trail snacks and water.

Brian is ride leader.

  2. I think we should change the name to "The Stash O' the Six Pack Ride."
I'll conveniently place a cooler somewhere up at the lake. We'll take a short ride, throw a few back and then post an amazing story about riding the expert loop in an hour and a half with a broken frame, the chain stuck in the big ring, two flat tires and a bear chasing us.

  3. That's the way I ride all the time--the beer does wonders for buying the silence of your compatriots!

  6. You start stashing beers en route, and you might start having some party crashers show up...

  8. I think trail magic is the answer to our low attendance.

  9. It was a nice night for a ride. 17.2 miles in two hours and ten minutes ride time and about three hours total time. It was a little longer than expected but there were no real beginners in the group. So, we just kept on going. Thanks for coming Steve and Kevin.
Brad and I managed most of the ride in the mid chain ring.
    Kevin had two flats.
    Everyone had a good time.
