Mont Alto 9:00 AM. Bring your pruners along. If enough of us show up... we can split up and clean up several areas. Bring your bikes... there will be a ride.
T - X-rays of my back show I may have a compression fracture in L3 and compression issues in L5. Not sure if the L3 is acute or chronic issue, the L3 looks like it is chronic. Got an MRI and next appointment for follow up on the MRI is Monday so I will see. Dona and Sue have gone above and beyond being supportive and helpful! Hopefully I will be back soon.
It's been a week already, Timmy Texas. You should be good to go. How long does it take you to heal? Besides, it's only your spine. Shesh! You're such a Nancy!
Nevada, who what where when why? not another wounded soldier, man its been a bad week. Hope you heal quickly. Call if you need help sorting out the imaging. Sometimes compression is over read on plain x-rays, so hopefully the MRI paints a better picture.
Rob - Thanks for the offer! Good to know about the x-ray. I will hope for the best. Basically went over my handle bars. Fortunately I had a helmet on. It broke, but saved my head. I blame bucsexy as he did not warn me we needed to make a sudden downhill stop from 15-20 mph to 0. Of course he managed to stop so maybe my over eager front braking had something to do with it.
Bucsexy - shhh, don't tell anyone it was just a dramatic ploy to get out of trail maintenance this weekend!
Freddy Florida - I tried to warn you by screaming like a little Mooch! Seriously, I wish I could have done more than scream. Did I brake too hard? Stop too soon? I hope I didn't mess you up. I was in full pucker and trying not to crash.
Ageless wonder - no worries. You did not do anything except stop as needed. Unlike me. I was blaming you out of pure enjoyment/laughter value, not any real reason. However, misery loves company so next time if you want to crash too feel free!
Utah, been thinking about you all week hoping you were alright. Saw a post from you with no mention of complications and thought no news was good news. Heal fast buddy!
Dr says I am not allowed to go. Sounds like a lame excuse to me.
ReplyDeleteSteve, What did you mess up?
ReplyDeleteHow long are you going to be off?
You took a hard hit! Take your time and get better.

ReplyDeleteTwo compressions and still rode the trail to the bottom. Sounds like a man card to me.
ReplyDeleteHeal fast.
