I was riding in/near Colonial Denning park this morning and while on a fire road there, had a squirrel dart out in front of me and then back again (saw lots of other wildlife). Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough and I nailed it with both tires while (I) going 17-18 mph. It wasn't even fazed and ran back off of the road. I've had a fear of getting something caught in my spokes and then crashing big time but I always think "treat it like a speed bump". It worked today and I was glad to be on my mountain bike and not the road bike!
Everything is tougher in Perry Co.

ReplyDeleteYou left it in the spokes when on the BC? Fucking bad ass! I nearly had a squirrel do the same shit not too long ago. Sucker was inches from my front tire.
ReplyDeleteNvm! I see it's on the truck bed. :p
