  2. Will there be a lot of stopping or is Johnny Utah staying home?

  3. At the moment he SS is out of commission so it will be my geared bike. There will be plenty of stopping so you can rest Chuckles! When you are left behind in the dark do not cry to me.

  4. Are you sure the SS is out of commission? You know it's not supposed to have a rear derailleur...

We'll see who's left in the dark. I have a new bike so look out! ;-) Glad you'll be there!

  5. The chain is very loose and for the life of me I cannot get the EBB to budge. Probably due to my remedial issues (trying to save you the time of having to make a comment bucsexy)

Look forward to putting you in a world of hurt!

Utah - loosen the bolt. Then give the spindle of the BB a couple light whacks with a rubber mallet. Should free it up. Then take it out and give it a liberal greasing. Even SS need a little love now and then.

  7. Bring it to the ride tomorrow and I'll take a look at it. If I can't fix it there I'll take it home. Bring your geared bike just in case...

  9. Nice ride on a beautiful evening. Thanks for coming out Chuck and Ruth, oh yeah and you too Stevo. If no one else is going to post Tuesday evening rides, I might just do so almost every week if people continue to show up.

  10. Glad you are picking up the gauntlet on the Tuesday rides Ho! Work schedule is keeping me away from the Tuesday routine lately but I'll be back!

  11. Thess would be intriguing if the start time wasn't so early. Does everyone in MBM work a government job or something?

  12. That was a nice loop last night with not much climbing. Yeah! :-)

Govt jobs are really nice. I will be hiking by 3pm today. :-)))

  13. The ride was fun. The company on the other hand (insert Chuck here) leaved a lot to be desired.

Mooch - I did try the hammer trick and still did not work. I readjusted it before so I am not sure what the deal is. Bucky (who owns no SS) is taking a look at it. I am waiting for him to tell me I was doing something dumb.

Chuck - even though your company is not great and you slowed me down on the climbs yesterday I appreciate the offer of help.

Mr Weiser - what time would work for you?

  14. Hey, Steve, thanks for asking but if the time works for a bunch of other people don't change it just for us. We can't start any earlier than 6:00, and that would be for locations Rt. 30 and north.
