I was thinking of heading out there from the lehigh valley to ride teaberry or the maximus. Is t ridable right now or are the trails snow covered and untracked?
I live up on Shippensburg Rd and there's 6-7"s on top of the mountain. The snow should make for some interesting riding.
Tommorrow I'm heading south to ride Greenbrier State Park in Maryland for the first time with a friend, I don't think the snow will be much of an issue down there though. We're riding at 11am if anyone wants to join us.
I hope the shoulder is ready for this because the new bike is ready!
Mud banks is a pull off on the north side of RT 233 between Woodrow Rd and Michuax Rd, studs, tire chains, or lower your tire pressure for some traction, what I rode in today was tricky, slippery, and very exhuasting riding, as half my energy went into a wheel that was spinning going no where up hills!
Hey skinny,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you all need to ask brett how much snow over that way. The state parks winter report states 4 inches of snow for pine grove furnace area.

ReplyDeleteThe trails are snow covered. Not only do I ride with a bunch of studs.... I'll be riding with studded tires this week.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of studs...I'll be there.

So, is there a ride? If it is at Mud Banks, can someone post the location? Studs?
