Wednesday 7-11 Trail Work @ 5pm

Meet @ the Weisers' house and then we'll go from there.

We'll carpool from there to a couple entry points and do some much needed trimming on some sweet singletrack.

Tools that may come in handy will include power trimmers, loppers, pruners, saws, rakes, leather gloves and beer.
Hope to see ya there!

Afterwards all are welcome to grill and chill back at Das Berg Haus--bring combustibles for the grill or whatever if you like.

  3. It's very "grassy" up there. I would be willing to bring our stihl cutter bar, but i'm not sure i am able to handle it. I will be there!

  5. hey, guys, why don't you meet at our house and then we can carpool to a couple spots for easier access to the trails--going in off ridge road will allow to possibly split up crews and hit stuff faster? like donna said, someone can use our stihl trimmer. i'd like to walk along but the most i'll be able to do is carry the little gas can.

  6. If that! Oh and if you want to bring something to eat/drink to share for afterwards, we could fire up the grill or whatever...

  8. That would be awesome Brett, as long as you think noone will have trouble finding your house.

  10. I planning on being there and I'll bring some extra tools.

Brett - you should only carry a camera and a beer.

  11. Very briefly met The Wiser Weiser while out riding on Saturday and would be willing to come help, but can't be up closer to 6:00. Also, I have a tacoma to throw stuff in the back of and have no problem running it on Ridge

  12. It would be great if someone could bring a weed whacker with a standard trimmer head. That would work better than the cutter bars for the grassy sections.

  13. I will either wait for the 6:00 crew or circle back to pick them up after helping Howard get everyone started. So, if someone can't make it until 6:00, I will be there to get you guys where you need to go!

  15. I think Brett has something in mind. It sounds like we should have enough troops and weaponry to orginize multiple assaults from different angles.

  16. Yep--pretty much. Easier to explain when everyone's at the house. We will be going in from at least two points, maybe three, to speed things along.
