I'm not sure if I can ride this Tuesday or not. I'll be down in Maryland on business earlier that afternoon.
There are at least two locations on the beginner loop with yellow jacket nests. One is in the first half of the loop at the top of the longest singletrack descent.
The other location is on the singletrack that drops down to the reservoir. There is a cut log which creates a sharp left hand turn in the trail. After that log there is a small creek and the yellow jackets nest is at the base of a tree across the creek.
If I can ride I'll try to bring some insect killer to hit these nests.
I'll be there too! Woooo! I'm pretty sure I know the route...to include the first half...we'll be in good shape. Plan on riding faster than bee's (or not).
Great ride today. It was a good group. I was able to keep it in the mid chain rind all the way to the reservoir except for that rocky climb. It was actually in the mid chain ring there too but I was pushing ([:0

I'll be there. I'm not sure about the first half of the course. Once at the reservoir I know the return route.
