To all friends and family of Brian and Lee Ann Fults: There will be a memorial ride/walk tomorrow morning (Sunday 10:00 pm) to spread his ashes along Abby Trail in Micheaux as request by Brian on his last few days with us. Walkers will be led by Les Hegarty and Lee Ann Fults and will only walk the second part of the trail. Mountain bikers will be led by Cory Hegarty and will ride all of Abby trail. Riders and walkers will meet halfway through Abby trail at a pre-determined location and a few words will be spoken. Riders and walkers will meet at big flat parking lot at 9:30 and instructions will be given from there. Location to parking lot:http://www.mapquest.com/?hk=10W5H0v&icid=embed_viewLargerMap. Last Wednesday our friend and member Brian Fults lost his fight against cancer. Brian was an inspiration. He rose through the mountain biking ranks in record time and began winning races. He eventually started the Bulldog Race Team. His drive and his spirit will be missed by all.

On Friday a group of MBM, Gettysburg and TORC riders dedicated a ride to our friend. Thanks for the jersey Bulldogs! I will wear it with pride. We will remember our friend.
For those attending services, please wear your jersey.

Quite a few MBM club members came out to the memorial ride for Brian Fults. There was an informal ceremony on Abigail trail and all who wanted to share thoughts or stories of Brian were able to do so. His ashes were then spread along the trail. A very touching and appropriate goodbye for someone who inspired many of us on and off the bike!
