Tuscarora Gravel Road Ride

I have off of work on Tuesday and I am hoping to get out and explore the dirt roads of a different State Forest.  I am hoping to start by 9AM and plan on a route something along the lines of the following: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/307190955 .
If anyone is interested in coming along let me know.  The current plan is to park at Colonel Denning and ride from there.  Again, the above route is a rough outline and actual distance/route will depend on time and how I am feeling.  This is going to be more of a leisure ride with multiple stops for pics if it is warranted, no hammerfest.

In case anyone doesn't respond but just shows up for this ride I am no longer going to be able to make it. I have been clobbered by the flu bug over the weekend and even if I recover by Tuesday I won't be in any condition to do this ride. I am hoping to do this ride on Friday 10/18 starting no later than 9AM.

i can't see your route but if you're heading over into the laurel run area, parking in the lot on elk hill road right off of 233 might be a better option than in the park. and put on your climbing legs for elk hill.

Zero,
Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't sure if there was parking around Elk Hill Rd since I am rarely down that way and just assumed there would be one at the SP.

I was planning on riding up Elk Hill and then west on Laurel Run and coming back along Bower Mtn Rd. I guess I will see if I have the energy.

that sounds like a good route. some really good views on the climb up to bower mtn and good views all along the top but especially from the vista right before you drop bower mtn. also...make sure you stop and say hi to henry. (on bower mtn rd right after keen trail and before you get to the wolf rd.)
