Thanks.

RJ
For Caledonia rides we meet in the lot at the intersection of Rt 30 and 233. This is the parking lot in front of the furnace.

I plan on doing a pre-ride of the Teaberry 10 mile course if anyone is interested.

Ok great. how technical is the route? I am somewhat new to real technical riding, but can hold my own or at least in my own head I can.

Hey RJ,
are you the guy I met last year at Good-ta-Go? Sweet DJ bike and, Trail from Mountainhouse??

Camps,
Sorry that was not me. But I am planning on meeting up for Sundays ride so I can meet you if you come.
I see that you have the blog for the Pump Track. I live close to that (Glen Street) and ride that a few times a week with my kids. That is a great thing for the community. I own a landscaping business and if you ever need any help maintaining it or need any equipment, I got it.

RJ,
This would be better in an email, but I don't know yours.
I was just talking to Chris Snavley over the weekend about a substitute for grass at the track. The boro has to mow it, and they don't like to. In May, they accidentally Roundup'd the entire area. Was asking Chris for some kind of low-growing, low-maint. native groundcover or grass. He suggested clover or Sedum. I planned to ask the boro if this is something they will pay for, or I will have to pay for.

We also hope to get a load of donated soil this Fall for the CASH's Outdoor club to build a jump in the center and do some routine maint. We could definitely use a skid-loader for that.

Sorry for the RIDE thread hijack, my email is camplarrye at gmail

could MBM spring for the seed/ground cover, depending on cost?

Again, sorry for the thread hijack.
I don't think enough MBMers use the track to justify a club donation.

brett said...

It supports biking--why not? You're not asking; as an instigator, I'm asking. The club could at least consider it.

good sport, how to get stamina for the race on mountain?

drw said...

Yes. That's a great question.
Bucsexy, maybe you can field this one . . . how to get stamina?
And who the heck is 'good sport'? There are no good sports in this club - all merciless thugs.

Which direction do you plan on heading?
Secret? Piney Mt.? Quarry Gap?

Nevada said...

Why not all of the above Ho!

Always wonder what I miss when I see posts deleted by administrator or by author.

Why bother asking today Ho? Cheif has the mind of a woman and is sure to change it by the time Sunday rolls around. :-P.

brett said...

No drama in the deletions--just cleaning up an email address at the request of RJ.

HOward said...

You couldn`t handle all of the above, Nevada!

Chief said...

What would you like to do Ho? I just can't make up my mind.

HOward said...

You make the call, Chief. I might not even make the Sunday ride.

Ho- You can't handle the truth!

Great ride today -- fantastic early-fall weather!
We had a good turnout, around 10ish?
Full ride gps is as follows -- had multiple group-splits and bailouts along the way. Finish was just 3 -- Bird, Slow, and myself.
