Just got an email that the Teaberry has been postponed by request of DCNR. Will be rescheduled for Sept 25. Looks like we'll need to schedule a club ride for Sunday!
Jonathan Watch the blog for our Sunday rides. But if you are new to the sport we have thurs. rides at 5pm.in Mont Alto. The Sunday rides are NOT for a beginner rider.
Lets meet at pine grove and ride up to the new "block trails" and then do the usual? Somebody else lead, I'll sweep. They're pretty nice if they're trimmed out. Or???
They aren't trimmed out and we just rode them the other week Slow, although hardly anyone showed for that ride. I say 9am at Mud Banks, hill repeats on dead womans hollow and woodrow rd and Michaux rds, let's see who is King of the Mountain?
Commit and drop over to the north side so you have to climb your way back out of the hole to get back to the cars. Big Pond gives you 1000' of elevation gain. I'd like to say we'll be there, but not sure!
Hey Utah, Chef and everyone! I'm still alive but haven't been mountain biking much. I bought a Datsun 280Z race car and have been taking that to the auto crosses. Joel's been helping me and racing the car too. Next year I'm taking it road racing.
Glad they postponed it, now I can run it! I was down and out with the flu for a week and then with all the rain getting ready for Teaberry was going to be too much like work so I bagged it. Now it's all good!

Yea.I got the same email. Where do you all want to ride Sunday?
It's been awhile since we've hit the trails around Mud Banks.
You have to respect DCNR`s decision on this, although there is probably more rock than soil on the Teaberry course, at least on the 20 and 40 anyway.
I just started riding mtb this year. I'd love to learn some new trails up at michaux. how do you get in on these rides?

That's good, since sundays are hard for me to make. you do thursdays in the winter as well? I'm learning fast and love the challenge!
we never quit. well maybe this rain might slow us down.
I don't know Chief I think Chuck may have quit. He is out less than me! Let's see if he even reads this blog anymore.
Chuck who???
I think he's a race car driver now.
Got tired of getting his butt kicked on bikes.
So where are we riding on Sunday?

If I can get on the mtn bike next week I'll do the Teaberry 10 miler on the SS.
The good racers ride bicycles as part of their overall training program....just saying!
