tour day pa
So the riders are coming through thursday afternoon and we're planning on riding out to the mountain to see them climb. We will meet at the memorial park in chambersburg by the tennis courts and leave at 9:30. I guess we should plan on riding 60 or 70 for the round trip. Sorry i'm late getting this posted. It sounds like there is already a group of between 6 and 10 riders. See you then.

Rob,
What route are you riding? Where are you planning to stop and watch?
About time you got this posted!!! Apparently switching to a Clown Bike did not get you to move any faster!
Stumpy: We are just riding out Rt30 and up the mountain to the top to watch at the KOM check point.
Hey you were being chased and following one of those clown bikes last Sunday.
As far as the route goes, aaron himelfarb's bro has a sheet printed up with a tentative ride course--trying to hit some back roads instead of 30ing the whole way. Farb wants to ride all the way to the top of the road to scout, then descend to the point he likes best--i like that idea, but people can pick whereever they want. i figure stumphumper would find a spot about a mile out of cburg and decide he doesn't want to go any further--we never know if it may rain, or if a spectator may douse him with a dixie cup of water . . .
Owww, drw your comments burn....
You boys have fun on your bikes. I'm gonna drive my truck, listen to Sweet Home Alabama, pound PBR, and make fun of those skinny boys in tight shorts on the mountain tomorrow - unless it rains, then I'm staying home...
Hey Stump
That sounds real good to me. We can set at the top at Mountain house get hogged up go for a ride in the woods and throw beer bottles at the roadies and signs. That sounds like a fun day wet or dry.
Yeah, check out that Blue/Tusc. Trail that runs right by the House. Wear baggy shorts, show them skinny Euros whatz up.
Maybe setup a gap jump over the peleton.
Camps is insane. Wish I could play hookey and join you, but glad that you will be there to support the Tour day PA.
