OOPS I did it again

My 4 month old Independent Farbrication frame is now headed for the scrap heap. It broke on the left seatstay just above the dropout. No pictures at this time. Those high dollar custume bikes are pure hype. I'm sure they will replace this bike but how long will the next one last.
If we'd dumb down these trails a little more my bikes would last longer.

If you'd show up for the Sunday official rides, this would not happen! We don't let bikes break because we remove all obstacles as we ride.

Sorry about your bike. Aren't they already making you a new one?

if you had some finesse, you woudn't keep breaking things

They are already building a new one. I wonder if they built the rear triangle yet. I wish someone had counted the amount of broken bikes this year.
We should get free R+D bikes to ride in Michaux.

"Michaux Tested Tuff"

Can you get a replacement for a bike they were already making a replacement for?

Most can save some buckage. Take advantage of the custom builders number punching at no cost. Get the print out and compare to the masses. Look closely and you may find the best fitting bike is already out there for you, then for the most part, its just whether you can ride the head angle or not and whether or not you can live with the warranty/material they are building it with. Unless you are getting something weird like a 96fitty, there is probably something out there for you already.

It's not the trails, it's the bikes. I rode the same frame in Michaux for 4 years without any trouble. Switched to another frame and have broken four in one year.

Saw another IF with the exact same problem. They repaired it and added a reinforcement. It then broke in the same place on the other side.

The Moots is still rocking.

When you get the fresh one, I'll trade you a Haro Steel frame for it. Just let me shake the sand out of it from Moab.....

Yeah, Moab. Glad I went, never want to go back.

i've heard that about moab from some people. gotta go once, at least....after that, well, yeah...

I can't find that "IF" model bike on Gary Fisher's website...do you have a link?

If it was a Fisher I'd have a new bike by now.
