Went for a ride above Cowan's Gap today and discovered that a timber sale had taken place and the ridgeline was decimated from Tower Road, north to above Cowan's gap. This area was beautiful, with double/single track for about 7 miles along the ridge. RIP.

F'in trees were meant to be cut down. If you can sell it for $20 why the hell would you leave it standing. Bunch of cheap a$$ mountain bikers cry about it, but hey they don't pony up the $20.
