I hope I can make it. 3 years in a row. This is the first and last race I do every year...I'm so hardcore.

I hope you can make it too, Nancy! I bet it's a lot warmer this year. Yeah, you're so hardcore. And so is Johnny Utah. Ha! I hope you guys and others can make it and enjoy the fun! I love this race. :-)

Mooch, you gotta sign up! Where are the people who did this before - Jody, Steph, Seeber, Rob, etc? How about Ho, New Jersey, Foghat, Scott, Cosmo, RedFisherMike, Witter, Chef, Joeltrain, Brett/Donna, Camps, etc???

I agree it's a fun race/place, but I hope to have 2 planks on my feet somewhere that day. I don't pre-reg for anything in winter.

I'm even somewhat intrigued by their cross race next month, and I don't even cross. Am also happy to hear they may open up for regular riding soon since I drive past there once/week.

I`m thinking about it. What is the course like and why is everyone racing singlespeeds?

Ho - everyone is racing SS because it's cold, snowy/icy, relatively flat, SS starts at 1pm, half drunk before noon, who gives a sh!t, need I say more??

Does this race actually fill up quickly? I know, I know, I should stop asking so many questions and sign up.

I race the SS because it's simple to ride and I'm not in it to win it. There are no real hills so use an 18t cog. If it's dry then you might want a 16 or 17. Yes, it does fill up! Stop asking questions and sign up!!!

I`m there!

I'm racing SS in the Sport cat at 9am. The SS 1pm race start is too late of a race start for me. The odds of me being too drunk to race at 1pm are too high to risk losing my pre-reg $$.
I'm doing the Cattle Crossing on Dec 12th too. Sounds like a blast. I might race that SS CX style too. Why not!
