Hey Mooch... do you think the sun, moon and stars will be in perfect alignment to allow you to ride on Sunday?

I might like Mooch but you "like" like him! ;-)

He's soooooooo cute and such a little weather man.;-)

Sunday's ride forecast: Obnoxious; with a 70% chance of mid-ride beer consumption. Offensive comments likely.

I should be there, what you planning on riding?

Leaf covered rocks and logs

I was waiting for someone to say a bike

we're not always on our bikes. We are going to do the trails over to lippincote and decide what we will do after we get down on 233.

Chief - Yeah, I noticed that last week when I saw a few less then graceful unexpected dismounts. Nobody was nearby when I had mine fortunately :)

Another good ride today. I did have to spend a bunch of wrench time on the bike when I got home, the bearings in the rear sprocket looked like they were on the ocean floor for awhile, cleaned them up and re-greased them, head set is tightened down good, derailuers adjusted, cables and chain cleaned and lubed, and bar ends removed. Hopefully I'll be good to go next week and won't have to worry about shoulder blocking any more trees since there won't be any bar ends on the bike to grab them.

Bird Man- I used to ride with a set of Ergon grips that have the apprx. 2 inch bar ends. Even those nubs proved to be good for nothing except snagging saplings and causing me to crash. Thanks for pulling all that trail maintenance! Good ride today. Beautiful weather.

FYI--Bar end accidents

That was an AWFUL ride! I felt terrible. I had the power of a 5 year old Mooch! I was sick Sunday and Monday but I'll be ready to go for Thursday's ride. :-)

Just a reminder. It is deer season and there are people in the woods with high powered rifles. Some of these people shouldn't even have a toy gun so it's up to you. I'm giving it a break until after deer season!! As for night riding there are a few that like to hunt at night! Hate to read about you in the paper.

Mike, My ole 26" wheeled stumpjumper has been feeling lonely and neglected for a while now. You`re more than welcome to ride it if you would like. I will be going to bed about 11 or so. If you don`t respond by then, give me a call tomorrow as I won`t be at my computer until 3:45pm tomorrow. 717-253-3439.

Here's another option... I have a spare Paragon and Rig. Both have Egg Beaters so if you're using "beginner" pedals we'll have to swap them before the ride.

Hey guys--i'm packed to ride! Leaving Hbg at 4--be there as close to 5 as possible with minimal prep!

bucsexy said...

I have my lights charged and will be there on time as usual.
