Rode the loop yesterday, here's a couple tips, watch out for the mud hole at the bottom of that trail that went around the deer fence that is no longer there (parallel to Michaux Rd), it will eat your entire bike. Also after you climb back up towards the ridge and head over towards Woodrow Road there is a large tree laying across the trail on that gnarly descent.
What mud hole. You're crazy man. I thought we having a draught now. I think I've been hitting that mud hole the pass 2 weeks and the mud sections. I've been cleaning most of the bottom section of that area the pass week (and tuesday this week). I guess next sunday the preride have alot of trees to move.
I might not make the ride so have fun.
Mike D and I were lucky to meet two nonmembers for the race loop today. It was a fun ride that tested my underwhelming endurance. There were some crazy downhills and some long climbs that wore me down, Gotta love starting at bendersville j/k . I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for a 20 miler yet. (other) Mike and his son were strong riders and they were stoked about the Maximus race. They were very relieved that someone showed up to the ride to guide them. All and all a great day for a ride. Our finishing beverage of choice was Southern Tier 2XIPA. Very delicious!! Any one else ever partake in the Southern Tier??? I highly recommend it. Especially to Slow
That was Jbird and mike McFly. We are legit members now! Pd. And all. Our guides were great and deserve double pay. Raincheck on the so.teir.
Sorry to miss the Mikes, Brad and JBird. I was racin'Scott
