Hey, Everyone, consider this a Save The Date post for Sunday, April 21st, to cut in the last section of the Wildcat reroute! We are planning the workday for Sunday due to Spring Gobbler season opening on 4-20.
Mike and Jessee laid out a nice swoopy line along the DCNR designated corridor and we have walked it with Forestry and received their approval to cut it in. This will re-open the new ridgetop line from the power line at Big Flat to Abigail!
So, in lieu of the normal Sunday MBM ride, come on out and help get this last piece opened up so we can start riding it in! With enough people, it should only take this day to open the trail.
Meet time will be 9:00 and depending on turn-out, we will try to work until it's done, perhaps 3-4 hours?
We are also planning to have food and refreshments afterwards for everyone who shows up--more details to come on that, too.
Hope to see a bunch of friendly faces out there to help finish this!
