park style

for reference, the pump track is at the top-right corner of this model

Ben Smith showed this at the Recreation Board meeting tonight to get a sense of how the Board feel about a street/trials/skills park at the old coal stalls, which are down the ramp from the pump track. We were looking for a "keep going", or a "you're nuts, forget it" response. Unanimous approval, and offerings and ideas of where we can get concrete pipes, parking curbs, concrete bollards, boulders, equipment rentals etc. An urban - industrial look and feel. .....So, we need to start sourcing materials and report back in 2 months. Any ideas out there??

Nitterhouse concrete. Tanya Nitterhouse is a good friend of Skinny Legs, a friend to cyclists and kids alike.

Get the PSU Mont Alto Timber Sports team to cut you some nice logs.

Since that is on an old rail line you may want to incorporate some railroad ties and/or track to keep with the theme.

The drawing looks great. I spoke with Ben last night and he informed the Board seemed to be behind us 100%. Ben already has some stuff around the pumptrack, it's looking good!
