Thursday Rides
There has been talk about moving the ride location from Mont Alto on Thurs. I don't think that would be a good idea. Mont Alto has alot to offer in some great trails. But with the resent logging we are losing some of our trails so I think we need to get up there and reopen those lost trails. Some of the logging is complete in some areas. This Thurs. we will be reopening the upper buckets. So quit your winning about losing trails and get up to Mont Alto and help reopen some great trails. Lets get some work done so we can ride more. Bring tools and bring your bike to ride to the location but be ready to do some work!

The only tool needed is Johnny Utah - but he doesn't ride bikes anymore.

I wanted to lead some guys around there on Saturday, but chose the Old Forge area instead.
We need to get some rubber on Heaven or Hell too....
It is perfect that Utah does not ride. More time he should be spending reopening trails! What a tool!

I will be in attendance on thurs. Hopefully my rippling musculature wasnt as effected by my francification as my bike-riding skills were - I was tiptoeing thru all the rocks on sunday!
I know this question will surely come back to bite me. What tools will we need?
Unfortunately I can`t make the ride/trailwork on Thursday but if anyone wants to use the BOB and is man(or woman) enough to pull it, we can make plans to have it there.
I guess hand tools such as saws, pruners. The main thang is finding the old trail or making a new route.
Is it possibale to ride with you all on Thursdays would be cool to learn some stuff you cant learn riding on your own.
sure you can ride with us. we will be meeting at the mont alto state park pavilion thursday evening. we leave the parking lot at 5:00.
