All,
I have arranged for Mike Nelson, a ranger at Gallitzin State Forest, to teach a chainsaw safety course
for LHORBA members at no charge. The course will be held at the Babcock office
of Gallitzin
State Forest on April 6, 2013.
Please keep in mind that you must
have chainsaw certification to run a chainsaw in any PA State Forest. Even if
that was not the case I found this course to be highly informative and
worthwhile to do.
The maximum number that can attend
the course is 15. So far we have 4 LHORBA members attending. Please let me know
how many of you would be interested in this course so that I can give Mike a
total of how many people will attend.
