For WMU 5A (Michaux): Bear season closes at sunset today. Archery is closed already. Deer gun seasons opens Monday the 26th. So, for the rest of this week you are free to move about the forest during daylight. Don't take any chances, wear orange and leave the antler helmet at home.

Turkey is over. Small game is still in until Sat. Wear orange if you ride like a squirrel, and trim or tuck in those rat tails guys!
turkey is in thur/fri/sat.
Turkeys are NOT open Thursday, Friday, & Saturday in Michaux(which is in WMU 5A)
