The Way Back Machine--looking for a 26" fork

(not Larry's bike)

Everyone set your time machines way back...I'm looking for an 80mm travel suspension fork for a 26" wheeled mountain bike. That is rim brake compatible. Preferably air-sprung. And moderne enough to have a 1.125" threadless steerer tube. Yeah, I know that a 1" steerer tube and elastomers would be the coup de grace for this bit of retro-awesomeness. Anyone have something like this laying around that they would to part with? RockShox or Fox? Contact me!

Naw, man, it's for a friend. The frame isn't that old--Soma Groove hardtail. Need to replace a Manitou Skareb that doesn't have enough oomph to get the job done.

I have an almost brand new Rock Shox Torro, I might have rode it for 2 moths before I bought the 29er. You're welcome to check it out and make an offer.

Buck--might be interested--will let you know.

Bird--does that Tora have rim brake posts on it or is it disk-only? and is it 80mm?

Brett, it has posts for rim brakes and it has adjustable travel(I think 80-120).

I've got an old Rock Shox Mag 21(?). Old school magnesium with original air pump. Bought it off eBay thinking I'd upgrade my first mtb.
