Mackey Run

If we had taken this picture after Mackey Run there wouldn't be as many smiles. Including myself.

Was that taken just before entering Mackey Run trail?

I like Seeber's urban attire.

Thanks for riding Mackey Run! The lines will start forming the more we ride it. When you finally get some of the lines, its pretty cool!
I finished Sucker Punch as well. Its totally different and will end up being a very fast trail. Its all flagged, and weed whacked but the lower section has not been rode at all, not even by me. So whoever gets the freshies,...I will be extremely jealous. Enter the first yellow gate on the right past the High Rock/Rattlesnake Intersection Tape will be on the right at a brush pile and it will descend down to Chicotee. Many switchbacks to keep it climbable once it gets rode in. I think you will see the potential.

With a couple tries, I cleaned all of Mackey with the exception of the obvious rock garden that was not completed and the little ledge drop that is easily cleaned in the climbing direction. I even managed to get the log garden in both directions figuring I needed to step up since I was the one who put it in there in the first place. If you are having a hard time with the trail, try a section once, stop and go back and take a close look for l lines you may have missed. This helped me greatly! There are ALOT of protruding rocks that hijack your attention and you are probably staring at them as opposed to going around them or over them...,I'm speaking from personal experience here! The 29ers will work wonders! It has taken me multiple attempts to be able to do this so please don't get frustrated. In all honesty, I didn't want anyone to be able to clean it on the first attempt. If you do get frustrated, just go ride Sucker Punch, It should be a future classic for everyone.
Give it another shot and have a couple of nice IPA's waitin' at the car! Might I suggest Hoptical Illusion?

Travis I wasn't complaining at all. Love the trail just need to get my PA shoes back on. To much time in Omaha! All the trails there are like roadie mountain biker stuff. ( No big logs and no rocks.) I will definitely try Sucker punch sounds like a fun flowing thing.
