I rode Rocky Ridge with Jes Stith on Saturday afternoon. My legs look like I stepped into the middle of a cat fight from all the thorns that have overgrown the trail. Three's also several relatively new deer fences with hanging gates that you have to crawl through. It'll make for a really long day for anyone riding the 50.

I *tried* to ride Rocky to Mackey Sat. morning and had a terrible time following trail through the briars north of the deer fence.
By the time we made it around the deer fence, we were out of time and had to head back.
Looks like no Mackey for the 50 either. And that gawd-awful Shriners is in again. Could've used some of Spooge instead, I guess I should've spoken up to the G-burg folks ...
I need to get out to Michaux!
