Good job everyone, including those that tried but DNF'ed and unfortunately aren't listed. I think they ought to list the DNFs in the results to show how many people actually attempted this race in these conditions.

Those who DNF'ed definitely deserve the recognition as well.
Those of us who DNS'ed are looking forward to the verbal assault on the next ride...
What is the statistical significance of the results? Should we conclude that single speed speed bikes are faster than full sus geared bikes or that the people who ride single speeds are faster than than everyone else?
I think I am going to buy a single speed and ask Joel to ride it. That should give me the fastest bike.

I wasn't aware that I looked like such a goon with the goggles, but the sandy road at the beginning made the look worthwhile. I'm glad I wheelied or waved to everyone with a camera, it helped pass the time in such a boring event.....
