Stream diverted

The logging to make way for the lifts for our new DH/free ride park is causing problems already.  The debris from the logging had the stream all clogged up and it has been diverted on the access road/trail from Quarry Gap Road to the Park office,  that is the new stream bed,  almost the entire length.  So if you're riding in the area and don't want to ride through axle deep water you might want to take a different route.

Slow and I rode through that crap last Tuesday. It`s a shame that they`re logging old growth and trashing the area in the process, and within Caledonia State Park at that.

I was up Quarry Gap last Thurs. and all was normal. The streams where high but with all the rain I expected them to be high

He's talking about the waterline two track going from Hosack campground to the Caledonia parking lot.
They dropped lots of timber, left everything on the ground, then the rains came and it all jammed up the streams.
