Just got the mantle-of-responsibility from the Chief! I say, plan on bringing ur big-boy bikes, cause we will be hitting up heaven-or-hell. Any interest in a trip south of the border next sunday, the 7th? We just need somebody to lead. Let me know if anybody is able and available.
We haven't had a 'ride report' in months. It was a fine day for a ride, and an appropriate number of riders arrived in the parking lot. We began the day with a climb up Secret Trail with 16. Heaven-or-Hell was next on the list and, as usual, there was a split in the group at the top, with a few choosing to instead ride Lee's. H-or-H was challenging, but more ridable than I remember it being. Would be great to clean-up the bottom sometime and maybe put in a little stone-work, not paving!, just stone-work. Then we climbed Wayne's Trail to 4-logs then down Crumble and out the double-track to the road to head back down Secret. Ended the ride with what was a still-large group of 11. Sounds good. Dave, let us know where we can meet that works well. We'll plan on meeting at 8:30. We used to meet at a Sheetz at a lonely intersection somewhere south of Waynesboro -- where was that??
Will people be coming down I81 to I70 or down 997 to Waynesboro? The Sheetz I think you are talking about is off I70, on Rt 40. Let me know which way you are coming and I can give you directions.
I'd say give us directions like we're coming on the highway, if anybody wants to get fancy they can figure it out on their own. Is that Sheetz a convenient place, or would you rather another meeting place that's closer to your ride spot? You're the leader, just let us know what works!
If you are coming the highway, the sheetz is the best place. I81 to I70. I70 East towards Frederick. Exit 35(Smithsburg/Boonsboro). Turn Right go 1 mile to Sheetz. If you have any questions/problems my cell is (240)344-1365. Meet@8:30

I can lead the water shed ride on the 7th. I can't make this sunday.

Hey DRW, next time we will have to swing by Tartown and have a cold one! Check your GPS map, near Teaberry lot.
BTW, Dave is offering to lead the Shed ride next Sunday. Isn`t anyone going to take him up on that? It`s time for MBM to ride outside of Michaux!
Sounds good.
