I rode my mountain bike - in the woods! It was great - fresh air, sun, slight breeze, sound of gun shot. From 233 up long pine dam road, round the the lake (past the firing range), up to the road that goes to the dam - no snow, wonderfully dry with some mud. I took the lake trail, but was only able to ride about 100 yards of it. The were people walking out on the lake - which I thought was monumentally stupid. I have been training for the Cburg half marathon which is next weekend - after that you suckers are in trouble - specially you 'PABiker' (pff - roadie).
Got in a nice, mellow 26 mile ROAD ride this afternoon with Clowny and Steph. It was just nice to be on a bike! I am converting to a roadie - until the snow melts.Considered raiding Lars' garage beer fridge on the way by, but our conscience got the better of us.
Crash and I got 30 couple miles in. Of course he had to make me look bad the last 2 miles. After 30 miles the ol winter lazy legs were worn out. But like mooch said it sure felt good to to be worn out after a good ride. I'm going out and checking out the pine grove area Mon. I'm taking my snow shoe.
next time....,I better have it well stockedor, buy a lock..
The ladies love men with shaved legs and chamois creme.

I was in Pine Grove today and it looks like we will be riding road bikes and going to flower shows for awhile.
